Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship
This state-program is designed for recent Michigan high school graduates or individuals with a high school equivalency certificate who are enrolling in a career training program. Under this scholarship you may be eligible to receive up to $2,000 per year, for up to two years (a total of up to $4,000) for an industry-recognized certificate such as CNA or phlebotomy.

- You must be a Michigan resident for at least the year immediately preceding application.
- You must have graduated from high school (or equivalent) in Michigan in 2023 or later and not yet earned an associate or bachelor’s degree.
- You must enroll in an eligible career training program (such as those offered here at Nursing Detroit).

Michigan Works
The Michigan Works! Network offers funding assistance for individuals seeking training in high-demand industries, and that includes healthcare careers. According to the program details, funding is based on demonstrated financial need, must be for a training in a high-demand occupation, and the applicant must show acceptance or enrollment in a qualifying program.
